To celebrate the launch of Qualmann and Hind's new book Ways to Wander the Gallery, we have a special offer – buy both publications for just £20. (Normally £22) Free UK P&P.

About Ways to Wander the Gallery:

In the summer of 2017, Clare Qualmann and Clare Hind led a series of workshops at Tate Modern looking at the relationship between walking, art, experimental writing and composition. They then invited each participant to create a page for Ways to Wander the Gallery.

This book is an invitation to try 25 different ways to wander in and well beyond the art gallery inspired by the work of artists Rebecca Horn, Bruce Nauman, Hito Steyerl, Janet Cardiff, Julie Mehretu and others.

With additional contributions from artists Cathy Turner, Kris Darby and Blake Morris who responded to artworks at Tate Britain, Tate Modern and Tate St Ives.

This book is designed to pop in your pocket, share with friends, use in teaching or your own workshops, go on a hike, and return to the gallery. You can read and interpret each Wander Score as instruction, or as poetry or make each one a performance.

About Ways to Wander:

Ways to Wander isn't your average book of walks. It is your invitation to consider (and try for yourself) some of the many different ways to wander. It includes 54 proposals, ranging from the geographically specific to the generally located, produced by artists involved with the Walking Artists Network.

Including contributions from: Alison Lloyd, who suggests you take yourself 'contouring' in the uplands for a day; Gary Winters & Claire Hind who invite you to 'blow a bubble and follow its path'; David Prescott-Steed who proposes you shout 'hello' into urban subterranean drain and wait for 'friendly voice to greet you back'; and Clare Qualmann who asks you to map walking routes in your local area that are problematic for pushchair/buggy/stroller use.

These two books by Clare Qualmann and Claire Hind are perfect for walkers and anyone who makes, or wants to make, walking art or walk-performances – and for anyone interested in psychogeography, radical walking, drift and dérive.
